7th Release of Flemings 8 Barrels Shiraz.

Vineyard Region: 100% Barossa Valley, Greenock, South Australia
Grape Variety: Shiraz
Maturation: 20 months in American and French Oak Hogsheads (300 litre Barrels).


Winemaker Comments:



Color: Deep purple/red.
Nose: Lifted and defined Blackberry fruit, dark cherries, vanilla oak, with a suggestion of dark chocolate and pepper.
Palate: Flavors are ripe; Blackberry fruit, dark cherries, dark chocolate, pepper and plum.

The Soft tannins and mouth feel, are showing vanilla richness from the superb American and French Oak.

Bottling Analysis: Alcohol volume: 14.5 %
Residual sugar: 1.8 grams/litre
Total acid: 6.4 grams/litre
pH: 3.52
Peak Drinking:

2012 to 2018.
