Winemaker Comments:

Color: Deep purple/red with purple hues
Nose: Lifted and variety defined. Dark berry fruit, cherries, chocolate,
with a suggestion of pepper, and vanilla richness from the oak.
Palate: Dark berry fruit, chocolate, and pepper.
Firm ripe tannins are caught up in the generous fruit and complex oak, with almond and mocha flavors.
The Vanilla oak is soaked up by the fruit, with a rich mid-palate and a lingering Finish.

Residual sugar: 1.2 grams/litre
Total acid: 6.4 grams/litre
pH: 3.52
Peak Drinking: 2008 to 2016
