Flemings Wines, a red table wine specialist was established in 1998, between 3 partners over a glass of wine. The 3 Dragons symbol represents the 3 partners and their passion for making great wines. Grapes are sourced from low yielding vines, helped create this perfectly balanced wine, grown in South Eastern Australian vineyard regions.

Vineyard Region: 50% McLaren Vale and 50% Kangaroo Island, South Australia
Vintage Conditions: The 2005 vintage was of good quality across all regions. Mild temperatures with few sustained hot periods, moderate and generally well timed rainfall, resulted in very good quality in McLaren Vale and Kangaroo Island, with full varietal characters being developed in the fruit on the vine.
Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz
Maturation: Batches of this wine were matured for 12 months with
American and French Oak

Winemaker Comments:

Color: Medium red with purple hues
Nose: The nose shows red berry fruit aromas of raspberry, cherry, with fresh red berry lift. Hints of spice, oak, vanilla, and red capsicum notes add complexity.
Palate: A Medium bodied wine with cherry and red berry fruit flavours, with oak and vanilla adding complexity. Ripe Cabernet Sauvignon fruit is more profound on the palate showing chocolate, mocha flavours clasping raspberry fruit, and the ripe Shiraz fruit adding pepper and spice with soft tannins and a lingering aftertaste.
